Hue was the imperial city, it is always the best place to learn about the last monarchy of Vietnam by its lively exhibition of the Royal Citadel and Emperor Tombs. Besides that royal yellow, Hue has more colours to offer travellers from the green of Thuy Bieu village; the shadow of blue sky on the Perfume River, the white Ao Dai (traditional costume) and conical hat grazed by on the streets and flowery kiosks at Dong Ba market. Exploring Hue in the style as it is and enjoying every aspect of the city that you can never find somewhere else.
ITINERARY
Day 1 : Hue city tour – Tha Om garden(L/D)
In the morning, An tours and travel guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel or Phu Bai airport then takes you to explore the Imperial City of Hue. The first stop is the Hue Citadel. The Hue Citadel is situated on the Northern bank of the Perfume River and was built by Emperor Gia Long – the first Emperor of Nguyen dynasty in 1802. It was designed for the exclusive use of the Emperor and his royal family.
The Citadel is a square 2 km wall encompassing 3 walled enclosures; the Citadel (Kinh Thanh Hue) – the Yellow Imperial city covers the Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh) in the center where the Nguyen dynasty’s Emperors lived and controlled their kingdom. The Hue royal complex has been officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 1993.
After all, we transfer you to hotel for your overnight stay in Hue.
In the evening, let’s enjoy a royal style dinner before your free night exploration.
Day 2 : Hue – Thuy Bieu cooking class (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, we will pick you up and escort you out to experience Hue’s local life on a relaxing boat trip in Perfume river up to Thuy Bieu village which is situated on the southern bank of the Perfume River, 7 km away from Hue city center, the village you should not miss once in Hue. It is a rustic rural village with lush greens which still keeps their former lifestyle. Leaving the noisy and bustling urban life behind, you will join us in our cooking class, have an unforgettable experience in Thuy Bieu Eco-village – which represents the countryside of Hue with the clear notion “garden-house”. Afterwards, let’s enjoy your beautiful lunch with Hue traditional dishes prepared by yourself under the instruction of our chief.
Transfer back to hotel in the afternoon then enjoy your free time at own leisure.

Day 3 : Thien Mu pagoda – Dong Ba Market (B/L)
In the morning, pick you up at your hotel then board a scenic boat trip in the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda or “Heavenly Lady Pagoda”, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue.
Next, we will drive shortly to Dong Ba market which has been functioning as the main resource of food for the palaces, hospitals, army camps, dormitories of the national universities and local people.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before transferring to the airport for your next flight.
